       | Backend-leaning full-stack software engineer working remotely in
       | diverse teams for the last 10 years.
       |
       | Not in a hurry. I'm exploring career improvement opportunities
       | where I can be sure that if I invest my passion I will feel parts
       | of the results of it.
       |
       | I've helped (twice) companies to scale their applications from
       | millions of users to an architecture that can scale x10 that.
       |
       | I'm happy working with Smalltalk, JavaScript, Rust, Swift, Go,
       | Docker, AWS or GCloud. I'm usually happier pair programming but
       | I'm totally okay left with a task on my own too.
       |
       | I prefer not to do DevOps nor operations. Being on-call is a deal
       | breaker. I shine in development. I'm good with systems design.
       | Love to pair/mentor teammates. Specially bringing new
       | possibilities for the app so the team can do things with it if
       | they chose to.
       |
       | My favorite backend tech: Smalltalk. My favorite frontend tech:
       | Svelte (although Vue and React are coolish too).

       | Hi, I'm Jeremiah! I have 8 years of experience in systems
       | architecture and fullstack web development.
       |
       | At my current company, I am responsible for leading the
       | development of SVRunner, a software platform that powers some of
       | the biggest, most iconic LED screens and art installations in the
       | world. As an early employee, I was instrumental in founding and
       | designing the initial product, including the GraphQL API and
       | dynamic scheduling algorithms. Now I oversee the building of
       | control systems and media players using a primarily web-based
       | stack. On the frontend, I write code using React, Apollo, and
       | Tailwind CSS to produce high-performance, fault-tolerant web
       | applications. On the backend, I help create services running
       | Node.js using Express and Apollo server frameworks, PostgreSQL,
       | SQLite, and ElasticSearch databases, and FFmpeg for media
       | processing. I collaborate on these solutions with design,
       | product, QA, and marketing teams to make the best user
       | experiences.
       |
       | During my time at the company, I've spearheaded many developer
       | quality-of-life improvements including a full code migration to
       | TypeScript, a consolidation of repositories to a unified
       | monorepo, a switch from webpack to ESBuild and Rollup, and most
       | recently an adoption of Turborepo to improve build times and
       | streamline releases. I would love to help bring about these kinds
       | of changes to a new company.
       |
       | I've worked hard to hone the skills I have, but I know I still
       | have a lot to learn and I'm eager to grow my skills within the
       | unique needs of a new organization!

       | I'm an accomplished senior engineer with 17 years of experience
       | building products and solving problems. I'm technology agnostic;
       | I use the best tool for the job. I'm also full stack. I like
       | building features as a vertical slice through all layers of the
       | stack, from the database all the way up through the frontend.
       | I've worked at companies of all size, from 10 man startups to
       | Disney.
       |
       | I'm a no-nonsense greybeard who gets things done, but I also keep
       | up to date with all the latest toys. I remember when SPAs were
       | written in Adobe Flex and run on the flash plugin and I've also
       | used react hooks in anger. This gives me a unique perspective and
       | judgement that comes in handy when evaluating new technologies,
       | building new products, making existing products work better and
       | solving difficult problems.

       |
       | Hi, I'm Jon.
       |
       | I've had numerous roles and responsibilities under the umbrella
       | of "techology-related problem-solver". I have a fairly T shaped
       | skill-set and tend to gravitate towards areas where I can have
       | the largest impact. Sometimes that means architecting and
       | building distributed systems solutions and libraries, other times
       | it means working with security teams to improve the Secure SDLC
       | for an engineering group by growing developer mind-share into
       | Shift-Left. My lauded communication skills have enabled me to
       | solve some engineering problems with soft skills alone.
       |
       | I've worked in the healthcare space for the last ~5 years, and
       | have found my cross-knowledge of development and secure practices
       | to be a boon in leveling-up engineering groups perspectives on
       | handling and protecting sensitive data (HIPAA and friends).
       |
       | Technology-wise I've worked with quite a few different stacks
       | (most recent noted above) and don't have much trouble picking up
       | new things and diving deep. I tend to stay abreast of technology
       | developments and trends by consuming sites like HN or subreddits
       | for specific languages/technologies (In communities which I'm not
       | directly involved, I check in once a week to see how different
       | groups shape their perspective on discipline-wide problems). I
       | also enjoy the opportunity to dive deep into the source code of
       | an open-source project to answer questions that aren't well
       | documented or blogged about.
       |
       | Most of my work is closed-source, but I tend to hang around in
       | slack/discord/gitter/etc and try to answer more than I ask.
       |
       | I'm currently looking for full-time remote opportunities.

       | I am an experienced software engineer with a career spanning over
       | a decade, having worked in leadership positions on commercial
       | projects as well as hybrid commercial/open source projects, in
       | fields such as consumer gaming, cloud storage, and drone control
       | systems.
       |
       | In the past few years I have worked on real-time low latency
       | video streaming systems on both mobile and embedded linux
       | platforms, and designed and implemented a commercial end-to-end
       | encrypted cloud storage system for the EU market.
       |
       | For most of my career I have both contributed to and maintained
       | open source projects, such as Arch Linux ARM where I maintained
       | the Beaglebone Black platform for several years. I was also the
       | maintainer of the OpenHD project[1], where I reorganized and
       | modernized the development and release process, and as the lead
       | developer I created a cross platform touchscreen drone controller
       | called QOpenHD[2].
       |
       | I have real world experience deploying applications on multiple
       | embedded linux platforms, Mac and Windows systems programming (C,
       | C++, and Rust), iOS/iPad and macOS application development
       | (Obj-C, Obj-C++, Qt, Swift, Rust), and Windows desktop
       | application development (C# .NET/WPF, Qt, Rust).
       |
       | I have years of experience using the Qt framework on desktop,
       | mobile, and embedded linux platforms, and have in-depth knowledge
       | of low level platform-specific rendering and video handling APIs
       | (OpenGL, Linux v4l2/dmabuf, GL texture/buffer sharing).
       |
       | I've also designed my own FPGA IP cores for parts from most of
       | the major manufacturers, including Xilinx, Intel/Altera, and
       | Lattice, experience which gives me a much better understanding of
       | how the hardware we run our software on actually works in
       | practice.
       |
       | Currently I am working on an animal safety monitoring system
       | (embedded Linux, Qt, C++, Rust) that detects and reports
       | hazardous conditions/events that could be life threatening (such
       | as a baby tortoise flipping over under a heat lamp), using a
       | combination of habitat sensors, thermal imaging, and computer

       | I'm Adil, software engineer with 13 years professional
       | experience. For the past 4 years, Go has been my main programming
       | language.
       |
       | I love working with Cloud Infrastructure and I'm very interested
       | in Kubernetes and the Cloud Native ecosystem (I'm currently
       | getting ready to take the Certified Kubernetes Administrator exam
       | in a couple of weeks).
       |
       | Over the years, I have collaborated with multiple organisations
       | on a variety of stacks. Recently I have worked with Deliveroo, a
       | global food delivery company on architecting, implementing and
       | maintaining scalable distributed systems built with Golang and
       | deployed on a modern AWS-based Cloud platform.

       | I can't really summarize myself as an "X engineer". My career
       | path has not been very orthodox, but it centers primarily on
       | compute-heavy software systems, generally high throughput and
       | usually low latency. I have written code for desktop
       | applications, a real-time processing pipeline, backend services,
       | and batch processing jobs. My production code has used varying
       | combinations of C, C++, Java, Scala, and various DSLs; I have
       | also used Python heavily for data analysis and tooling. Non-
       | professionally, I use Python quite a bit for data analysis and
       | tools. I'm currently learning Go, and re-learning modern C++.
       |
       | I have been working in ML and NLP for nearly 11 years, primarily
       | on productionizing models and building applications around them.
       | My most recent stint is four years with Twitter, but that will
       | officially end in a couple days. Here I've been able to build and
       | optimize a variety of ML-based services used by several teams
       | within Twitter as part of their own services. Note, though, that
       | I am not a modeller. I know enough ML and NLP to understand how
       | the systems should work and how the model integrates into it, but
       | not enough to effectively build the models.
       |
       | From looking at job reqs I'm interested in, it seems my biggest
       | weakness right now is limited experience with cloud platforms. My
       | only professional experience is at Twitter where I used some
       | features of GCP in a non-production capacity (primarily
       | BigQuery). However, I am interested in developing this knowledge.
       | I have used Azure for some small personal projects, I'm currently
       | learning the basics of setting up Kubernetes clusters on GCP, and
       | I've adopted Docker for managing my personal server.
       |
       | I'm looking to continue doing the type of ML infrastructure work
       | I was doing at Twitter, or move back towards the high-performance
       | computing type work I did at Raytheon. While I have done some
       | work in building web applications and can work on them when
       | necessary, I don't really want to become a full-stack engineer.

       | I'm a hands-on software engineering leader with over 20 years

       | My name is Laralyn. My background is in information and knowledge
       | management, but my methodology focuses on users. Understanding a
       | user base (expectations, goals, behaviors) is key to delivering
       | products that are useful, usable, and engaging. My approach is a
       | blend of quantitative and qualitative user research, working

       | assumptions that inform business strategy.
       |

       | focus groups, leading workshops to understand users' mental

       |
       | My experience spans roles in research, design, facilitation,
       | product development, knowledge management, and content strategy.
       | I've worked with startups and Fortune 500 companies in a range of

       | Hello, I am looking to help an organization make material
       | progress with my broad spectrum of skills and experience.
       |
       | My last project, I started an ecommerce channel intelligence and
       | brand protection SaaS that I bootstrapped/cashflow-financed into
       | a 100 person fully-remote global company. After over a decade of
       | helping some of the world's biggest and best brands, I sold the
       | company to a 1500 person private equity rollup where I assumed
       | the role of SVP of Automation & Commerce.
       |
       | After successfully completing my earnout, I left the acquirer to
       | start my next project, a digital hemp-derived competition &
       | marketplace powered by product content extraction and processing
       | to serve as pillars for product discovery and commerce.
       |
       | I am a few months out from launching, as I'm in the throes of
       | developing a Shopify sales channel for easy integration with
       | producers/vendors. The sales channel is written in React (which
       | I'm not a pro at) and the UX for the main site is written in
       | Nuxt/Vue. The backend is all serverless on AWS and uses custom ML
       | models for classification and extraction of product data.
       |
       | This is obviously a tech-oriented forum, but beyond my tech
       | skills, I'm also passionate about building companies and will be
       | leaning into business development and growth marketing for my own
       | project this year.
       |
       | If you think I can help you achieve your 2023 goals, whether it
       | be tech or beyond, please drop me a note and let's have a chat.

       |
       | Right now my main role is working at a large finance company

       |
       | I'm looking to get involved in some interesting work where my

       | side of things
       |
       | - Advise on improving your operations
       |
       | - Typical accounting work, like month end closes, financial
       | statements, bookkeeping, analysis, etc. (The advantage here for
       | me would be that I'd like to automate as much as possible, where
       | the typical accountant might not have the skills for that)
       |
       | - Help put business processes and logic into code
       |
       | - Make business problems go away (compliance, tax, paperwork type
       | stuff, etc)
       |
       | - Liason with external accountants, tax people, etc

       | I've been a full-stack developer for about 7 years. Side project
       | time has been spent in Unity, Unreal, Azure, and recently Swift.
       | I love backend software development but I notice a true passion
       | towards graphics and gaming and really want my next role to be in
       | that space. While I'd love to be doing core graphics work
       | (working on rendering / a tool like Blender), I understand my
       | current skills are slightly different, so even being tangentially
       | working in this area would be awesome.
       |
       | I love understanding customer needs and going above and beyond
       | making things right and useful. I highly value documentation and
       | well structured code, as well as mentoring and interviewing.

       | I'm an ex-Facebook Fullstack developer with over 10 years
       | professional experience, over 5 of those in the payments space.
       | While I do prefer to work in the backend, my mission as a
       | developer is to deliver value to the end customer, which is why I
       | do frontend work too.
       |
       | My most recent work has been 0-1 products in the startup space;
       | I've built out Ansible's Beam, a crypto to fiat offramp, and
       | Iris's Autopilot, a platform which lets customers benefit from
       | the skills of better active traders.
       |
       | At Facebook I was on the Ads Data Model Core team. The vast
       | majority of ad definitions are created via copy, paste, & then
       | edit. We had an internal migration of our data model. My biggest
       | project at Facebook was to ensure that copying from the old world
       | & pasting into the new one still worked. This project ensured we
       | didn't lose _billions_ of dollars of advertising revenue.
