Tuesday, October 18th, 2016 Too many laptops ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I don't exactly know how and why this happened, but suddenly I have a bit too many laptops. In last four months I gave my Lenovo T400, which I've got from my wife's work for free back to my wife, because her own notebook was after eight years of daily duty quite dead. Instead of T400 I use Acer Aspire One D255, which is 10-inch Intel Atom based netbook, so it is very good for my daily traveling to work. Then friend of mine gave me an Apple iBook G4 and Asus EeePc 701, both of them being old and measured with today's standards slow, but in perfect shape and ready to use. I installed Mac OS X 10.4 on the iBook and NetBSD 7.0.1 on the EeePC and use them on regular basis. Last weekend another friend of mine gave me another old notebook - 10-inch Fujitsu-Siemens B-series, which has only 450MHz Celeron CPU, but a working touchscreen. So now I have Efika MX Smartbook, PowerBook G4, Aspire One, iBook, EeePC and B-series Fujitsu, not counting the older machines, mostly collecting dust in the shelf. It starts to be quite difficult to manage this many machines. .
