Colorado ballots for 2022 general election are mailed out this week [1] ['Lindsey Toomer', 'More From Author', '- October'] Date: 2022-10 It’s time to start checking the mail, because ballots started going out this week across Colorado ahead of the 2022 general election in November. According to a news release from the secretary of state’s office, county clerks must mail ballots to voters by Friday, Oct. 21. Eligible voters can still register or make changes to their registration at GoVoteColorado.gov through the end of the month. After Oct. 31, Coloradans can still register and cast their votes in person until 7 p.m. on Election Day. If a voter wants to cast their ballot by mail, they should do so by Oct. 31. After that, ballots should be dropped at either a ballot drop box or a voting center location. Colorado has over 350 voting centers and 411 drop boxes, according to the secretary of state’s office. In-person voting will be open from 7 a.m.-7p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 8. Ballots cast by military and overseas voters must be sent no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day and received by the end of the day on Nov. 16.
