I know you, Kevin. You want the same thing all Republicans in office want. Money and power, of course, but most of all, you want to hurt those who have hurt you. You want to see their tears, hear the humiliation in their voice, make them regret having earned your wrath.

They have earned your wrath, Kevin. The 20 or so Freedom Caucus members who refuse to make you Speaker.

You must know by now that they will never let you realize that dream, no matter how much you beg, promise, or surrender.

SO . . .

It is time to make them pay.

Go out there, Kevin. Talk to your supporters. I’m sure that they are as fed up as you are with the Freedom Fanatics — with their idiotic statements, petty insults, and anti-American plans.

Talk to your supporters, Kevin. And when you have them all on board . . .

All of you vote for Hakeem Jeffries.

And announce that you will be caucusing with the Democrats.

Enjoy watching their jaws drop, Kevin, as they realize that their power has just vanished. Wouldn’t that be fun, Kevin? Especially if you could bring all 200+ of your supporters with you. They would be reduced to a small band of whiney brats over in the corner, yelling and kicking their feet, and being ignored by everyone.

Make a deal with the Dems. Your votes in exchange for kicking the Freedom Caucus out of every committee and plush job in Washington. Hear them wail and make fruitless threats. Watch them on Fox with the knowledge that THERE’S NOTHING THEY CAN DO ABOUT IT!

You wouldn’t be the Speaker, but you could still negotiate as a kingmaker, threatening to sink any bill with the help of the brats. Use them, and make sure they know you are using them.

Make them pay, Kevin. You know you want to.
