Thailand to reintroduce Covid-19 entry restrictions [1]

Anyone planning a vacation to Thailand this year should take note that the country is on the brink of re-introducing Covid-19 entry restrictions once again and applying them to all travellers, not just the Chinese.



In addition to the requirement that travellers should have been vaccinated with at least two shots of Covid-19 vaccines before arrival in the country, the reintroduction of prohibitory Covid-19 insurance is once again on the cards. When this particular requirement was in operation back in 2021/22 Covid-19 insurance to the value of US$100,000 was the minimum requirement to enter the country.



It also looks like the wearing of a face mask in public places and on public transport will become mandatory once again as well.
