MAGA Does Brazil: Satire

We contacted a famous MAGA foreign policy pundit, Max Bullscheisse, for his views on the attempted insurrection and election denial on behalf of former President Jair Bolsonaro. “There is a global conspiracy to certify elections that vote out hard-right, would-be dictators. I don’t know anyone who voted for Lula, so the election must’ve been rigged. Tucker Carlson said so and he never lies.”

“Look at the last presidential election in the US”, he continued. “And now Brazil. The Bolsonaros camped out at Mara Lago, which is quickly becoming a home for the politically challenged. I’m only sorry I had to make a quick trip to Moscow to get my marching orders; otherwise I would have loved to join the gang.”

“I’m sure that the insurrection will continue and succeed, just like everything else we touch. It’s becoming a reliable playbook. MAGA recently took over the U.S. House again, so there’s hope for Brazil too”, he added. “I mean, what could go wrong?”
