[1] ['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.', 'Backgroundurl Avatar_Large', 'Nickname', 'Joined', 'Created_At', 'Story Count', 'N_Stories', 'Comment Count', 'N_Comments', 'Popular Tags'] Date: 2023-01-21 This week the Demon Dialer calls at my residence have dropped from more than 30 a day during election season / health insurance signup to about 4 a day. Yes, I’m old school with a landline to find my cell phone when I lose it. I quit answering the landline due to the demon dialers. The robocalls were political pollsters or donation requests that increase during election season, health insurance signup which is also seasonal, computer service sales, banking service sales, pharmacy sales and advertising sales. When you got the live person on the line and and asked to be removed from their call list you were given a phone number that would put you into a permanent call transfer loop to never get removed from the call list. When I stated I was on the Do Not Call List they told me my signup there was only good for 6 months and then they could call again. I’m guessing that was just a standard lie to pacify me and they never honored the national Do Not Call List. When you asked to talk to their supervisor they would hang up on you. Has anyone else noticed the reduced nuisance calls?
