West Coast Cookbook & Speakeasy is Now Open! 8am-9am PT/ 11am-Noon ET for our especially special Daily Specials, Metro Shrimp & Grits Thursdays!

Starting off in the Bistro Cafe, one could almost think the College Board 'bowed to political pressure' with the whitening of the AP African American Studies program.

Then, on the rest of the menu, lawmakers introduced a bill that would eliminate Idaho’s only bipartisan legislative committee and place the state’s independent auditing agency under Republican control; Pacific Gas & Electric will face trial for manslaughter over its role in a 2020 Northern California wildfire that killed four people; and, the first sweeping federal gun crime report in twenty years has been released.

After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where the United States and the Philippines agreed on a larger American military presence in the island chain, as a bulwark against increasing China aggressiveness; and, Australia is removing the British monarchy from its bank notes.
