I have some early errands to run including taking someone to get a CT. Last night I sat for two hours and couldn’t think of a thing, then I saw something about 160 songs that turn 50 this year. I didn’t even know some of their selection so I thought I would offer you Billboard’s Top 100 (via Wiki) from 1973. I won’t be playing them all, just a few. If you want to reach for the Top 200, go for it.

Looks like Georgia was experiencing a little power outage giving us a glimpse of Texas of the 2020s.

Check out that hairstyle. You might see it again.

The next group wanted to take us on a Free Ride to see Frankenstein.

Followed by a Long Train Runnin. Because it was a Midnight Train to Georgia.

Now Angie wants to be On the Cover of The Rolling Stone.

A lotta people gettin’ high in ‘73. We had a Rocky Mountain High to go with a Natural High.

I think you’re starting to get the idea. Make a theme or construct a sentence. Have fun with it. Back when I did a little DJ-ing I would make a paragraph out of song titles. (Granted, some of the sentence structures were a little off.) Or just your favorite artist if they have more than one song in the Top 100 in 1973. You never know what goes on Behind Closed Doors. But, Don’t Expect Me to be Your Friend.
