Solidarity

In the mean time, I’m continuing my solidarity with the Daily Kos Guild workers by asking you to post a diary in support of their cause. I see this site as a three-legged stool. All are important to its success; Daily Kos management, the Daily Kos Guild employees ...and us… the community. By reading, writing and donating, we are important for not just having a hand building the site but its future.

Daily Kos is unique to the internet. The community came together 11 years ago to raise money so kos could grow the site. Many of us post articles ourselves. While the front pagers do get most of the attention, we too contribute articles that draw readers. The best example may be Charles Gaba who tracked ACA signup stats. He drew readers and much media attention. The earliest example may be Neeta Lind. She was so successful using Daily Kos to raise money for native Americans she attracted national media attention to her cause ...and the site.

So yes, our voice matters. Raise your voice by writing a diary in support of the awesome DKG workers that produce high quality writing or work behind the scenes to keep this site running.
