Veteran Billings Gazette photographer Larry Mayer captured photos of the Chinese balloon that have circulated around the world.

Public service journalism at its finest. If my former colleague and another person who worked for the Billings Gazette after I left, Chase Doak, had not captured photographic evidence of the balloon incursion, the Biden administration might have been content to do what the Trump administration did: keep such violations of U.S. territory silent. And probably allow the Blinken visit to continue.
