Jeopardy Error [1] ['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.', 'Backgroundurl Avatar_Large', 'Nickname', 'Joined', 'Created_At', 'Story Count', 'N_Stories', 'Comment Count', 'N_Comments', 'Popular Tags'] Date: 2023-02-06 I’m absolutely amazed that there is no one who has caught the monumental error on Jeopardy! tonight. The question was about a story written about a World War II prisoner of war camp written by James Clavell. The respondent responded “The Great Escape” and that was called correct. It definitely is not correct. Clavell wrote “King Rat”. It was his first published novel. “The Great Escape” was written by Paul Brickhill who was actually a prisoner at that stalag in Germany. It’s the first glaring error I’ve ever seen on Jeopardy! and I’ve seen a lot of them, not all certainly, over many years. I’ve looked at several sites like Kos for anyone else who may have caught this error but found none.
