The Final Heart Break [1]

A good day to play

I love cats, even more than people, and I have lost so many over the years, every one of them took a piece of my heart, everyone was a heartbreak. Every cat in the picture has crossed the rainbow bridge and I miss the days they were here.

So I wrote a brief diary about the number 13 and I will get back to that shortly. My last diary of the year started out like this;

Most of you know that I live 20 miles from the big city of Great Falls, the nearest town to my house is Vaughn and that is 7 miles away by road and 5 miles line-of-sight. Needless to say, if I have an emergency in the dead of winter, help would be a long time coming, it’s 20 minutes to the “big city” under ideal conditions.

How prophetic were those two diaries? Just before the month ended, I had a heart attack and was fortunate enough to get a ride on the Mercy Flight. The ambulance, my daughter and the helicopter all arrived at the same time, in less than 15 minutes and they whisked me away, the odds of me living the last three days of 2022 were less than 10%.

Here is where the number 13 comes in. I didn’t wake up in the hospital until January 11th, on January 13th which was a Friday, I told the nurse it was my lucky day, she said yes it was, I was going to live. The icing on the cake is, the heart doctor has set an appointment to see him on February 13, 2023!

How prophetic were my last two diaries in 2022? My last diary of the year, almost became my last diary forever. I am just so happy to be writing this one, my second diary this year.

The cats I lost had taken my last piece of my heart and I had to have a quadruple bypass to restore my heart. I still have some heartbreaks ahead of me, but I will be there to take them and will live.
