About Last Night: Huckabee tosses Trump aside: Have Non-MAGA Republicans found their voice? [1]

The Underpaid Marjorie Taylor Greene hecklling Biden at last night's State of the Union

1. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the youngest Republican Governor, announced last night it was time for a new generation of Young Republicans to step up and take control of their destiny. I don’t think Trump noticed that he is not young, and that Huckabee-Sanders was calling for the party to move foreward without him.

2. Huckabee Sanders pointed to 9/11 as a trial equivalent to the toil WWII Vets went through when Kennedy noted it was time for a new generation. Tough call Sarah, your generation of folks like Marjorie Taylor Greene don’t even believe 9/11 happened. Others believe it happened but it was an inside job. Not exactly the generation rational folks will trust.

3. The non-MAGA Republicans stood up last night. When Biden played rope-a-dope with them, and ensnared Marjorie Taylor Greene, many Republicans stood up for Biden, for America, and with their legs and their applause stated cutting Social Security and Medicaid will not be on the negotiating table. Let’s hope they can now find their voices and act as the reasonable majority of the party they are.

4. Joe BIden spoke in plain language last night. It was language Joe Six-pack and Donald Trump understood. And it was spoken with a sense of purpose any college graduate could relate to. In many ways Joe Biden, the kid form Scranton PA, the kid from the Anthracite Coal Region, is an example of the American Journey, the American Dream, that many of us can relate to.

5. Last night was a great night for America. Love ya Joe.
