POEM: A Prayer for Blessings [1]

Another poem by my friend, Jim Sharp:

LET BLESSINGS FLOW

The Golden Rule: Do unto others,

Let love abound, that no one suffers;

That from your heart the gifts you offer

Increase to you, that you may prosper.

The LORD has said so you will know

That you shall reap just a you sow:

To do on earth as done in heaven,

That as you give it will be given.

So as we heed the LORD’s request

In all we do, to do our best —

By His Mercy we are blessed:

Forgets our sins, forgives our debts.

This is the Law that we must keep:

That what we sow, we also reap —

That in this way His Will be done

And through our works His Kingdom comes.

Now live the Word: may GOD’s light show —

That as above, so too, below;

Through constant love that all shall know

We serve the Lord: let blessings flow!

(shared as a reminder that LOVE is the common principle of major religions around the world… may it touch your heart and encourage all to service.
