Daily Kos Guild and Daily Kos Management agree on terms of a voluntary buyout package [1] ['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.', 'Backgroundurl Avatar_Large', 'Nickname', 'Joined', 'Created_At', 'Story Count', 'N_Stories', 'Comment Count', 'N_Comments', 'Popular Tags'] Date: 2023-02-10 For ease of reference, here are the company’s initial severance offer for involuntary layoffs, the Guild’s initial voluntary buyout package, and the final voluntary package we have voted to accept. We are proud to have reached an agreement on these terms, and hopeful that our suite of voluntary measures will show DKM that we are serious about saving Daily Kos. And, of course, we’re rolling up our sleeves: We have more work to do to reach our ultimate goal, which is to avoid involuntary layoffs through enacting humane, voluntary measures. These next few weeks will entail more negotiations as we strive to secure the most empowering results for our unit and provide Daily Kos the cost savings it needs to remain operational. We will keep you updated as best as possible, but as you might imagine, we are all pretty weary and need to catch our breath. We sincerely thank our Community for showing us such strong solidarity since we announced these developments three weeks ago. We continue to welcome your support!
