An apt description of the City Councilman

Steve Sundberg, a white City Councilman for Aurora, Colorado, in 2020 posted racially and religiously stereotypical videos to the Facebook page of his Legends of Aurora Sports Grill , but they only caught the attention of leaders and advocacy groups in December 2022.

Councilman Sundberg apologized and removed the offensive videos, but refuses demands for his resignation. Some of his employees rallied to his defense, while other in the community have called his videos “inexcusable.” Mr. Sundberg contended that he was trying to use humor during the COVID shutdown to cheer people up.

I guess he was trying to cheer white people up.
