The day after Rugen Gallegos announced his run for the senate, I started getting fundraising requests. He is in Arizona, I am in Colorado. Once I gave $100 to Bernie, must be 10 years ago. I do not donate to their elections or any elections. I VOTE. Every candidate requests money. Its a constant barrage of SPY vs SPY. “I need money because my opponent has all this money”. Citizens united (which I knew was trouble at the time) allows every corporation to buy our politicians with all their resources. It matters little what we little people do, but they want our money anyway. Rump collects millions and pockets it. What does happen with our money. We need this money, but where does it go??? Madison avenue? All their paid staff? Where does it go? there seems to be no accounting, and others like Devolder play games with all of us. They all do it, and we are financing WHAT?? If we don’t finance them, we lose? Every day they ask for more. Years ago I proposed term limits of 1 term, and no lobbying. End citizens United before we are living in an oil tank.
