This is an Open Thread / Coffee Hour and all topics of conversation are welcome. For today's suggested topic lets talk about the recent advance in artificial intelligence AI and some of the systems that you can use right now to see what they can do.

I was viewing a webinar from Stanford University that caught my eye called GPT-3 & Beyond. Professor Christopher Potts, the lecturer, made some startling observations in the first 10 minutes before he gave a good general overview of processes and systems behind GPT-3 and the artificial intelligences listed below in the screen grab from his video.

With DALL-E2 you can type in a description of a image and it will create a image for you.

Chat GPT3 is kinda like a companion that you can chat with. Ask it a question and it will give back a good answer. My friend just gave it a college paper he wrote and asked it to review it. He got back a detailed analysis.

YouChat, found on You.com, combines search with artificial intelligence. It is based on Chat GPT3.

Whisper, is a open-sourcing a neural net that approaches human level robustness and accuracy on English speech to text recognition. These are descriptions of just 4 of the artificial intelligences listed above, but they should give you an idea of what these things do.
