Think... Think...how? Can't, I'll just step away for this question. I can't spin it. Why do most republicans think we are ALL dumb and have memory loss? Of all of the subjects to pick and want to eliminate , Scott picks Social Security and Medicare. You really want to go there Sen. Scott Tissue? Let’s talk about the recent book bans and your wife while we are at it. I got rid of my twitter account but this was just too juicy not to copy and show about Rick Scott. Here in Florida, we have lots of subjects to show and tell about. We got Scott, DeSantis, Rubio, Gaetz. So many half wits and criminal hypocrites, who are in leadership. I loved this reply. x You stole $1.2 billion from Medicare. That’s the debate. You lose. — Walter Masterson (@waltermasterson) February 10, 2023 "While Rick Scott was CEO of Columbia/HCA Hospital, he oversaw the biggest Medicare fraud in US history and was fined $1.7 billion, which was the largest healthcare fraud fine ever levied by the DOJ," tweeted political commentator Brian Tyler Cohen in response to Scott's post. "Maybe don't listen to this guy when it comes to protecting earned benefits. www.newsweek.com/... In 2000, Columbia/HCA agreed to more than $840 million in criminal fines and damages over unlawful billing practices, according to a press release from the Department of Justice (DOJ). The company later faced an additional $881 million fine in 2002, bringing its total settlement to $1.7 billion. I wonder at times which is worse….the Scott Tissue or the Devil DeSantis. Gaetz and Rubio are not even in the running with these two. Let’s talk about books. I wonder if DeSantis knows about Scott’s wife reading what some would consider porn to school Kids in Florida. What do these two do? Compare notes and project to the voting public like projectile vomit? Would he even care? Does he think we wouldn’t remember this? Talk about banning? This is a fact: I wish some reporter would ask DeSantis about this dirty book and is it banned? It would be knocking two bird brains out of preaching for a time with one question. Are you going to lock Ann Scott up? Every teacher who has been fined or arrested should be yelling… LOCK ANN UP ! Sem Dem and I both wrote about this in 2016. Can someone please get Rachel, or Lawrence or Joy to report on this hypocrisy the next time they talk about books banned in Florida. Pllllllllllllllease. This is from Sem Dem,,, Ann Scott decided to read to them a few passages from Patrick D. Smith's A Land Remembered. After reading a passage from the book that liberally used the terms "bastard," "damnit," and "son-of-a-bitch," she read this passage: “They turned left again at the mainland, cruising down Biscayne Boulevard, its northern section jammed with more motels and junk food shops, service stations, massage parlors, porno movies, bars, adult book stores, the sidewalks empty in the early morning sun but teeming at night with prostitutes and junkies and winos and professional muggers. Then they came into the downtown business section of Miami, passing the MacIvey State Bank Building with the letters MCI across the front entrance, then Bayfront Park with more winos and junkies and panhandlers and muggers.” Sem Dem went on to recite her choice of reading to kids in 2015 www.dailykos.com/… It is worth reading again folks. With this in mind, I am not nearly as offended by Ann’s book selection this year as I am with the selection she chose to read to the kids last year. In 2015, she had the unmitigated gall to read passages of a book to students about being responsible with our manatees, fish and wildlife. The book was called I'm a Manatee. She read this around the same time Rick Scott allowed hunters to kill Florida’s black bears, which were only recently removed from the endangered species list. So, yes, it was odd that this year she decided to read to kids a book about Floridians being forced into poverty and the killing of our animals and people. However, at least she was being honest this time about Scott’s vision for Florida. Come on local or even Washington Post media. Ask DeSantis if it is OK for republicans to do this crap and fine and arrest teachers for having Matilda in the classroom unless it is covered more than likely in a white sheet? All books to be covered or removed until reviewed by DeSantis’s special monitor. He needs to check out Ann Scott’s reading material. School officials told the Washington Post that they’re advising teachers to take extreme measures after Gov. Ron DeSantis (R.) signed into law House Bill 1467, which mandates that classroom books be "age-appropriate" and free from "harmful materials" such as porn. Teachers have been clearing their entire book collections or wrapping them in paper to hide books. freebeacon.com/... Teachers apologized to parents in 2016 for Mrs. Scott’s choice of reading material and had this to say.. The school had won some literary award, so unfortunately, they were punished with a visit from the Scott clan. The school, in fact, apologized to parents and let it be known that they had nothing to do with the book selection: So...it was not the teachers picking books from their library and talking smut but the Governor’s wife reading dirty. I trust the teachers… Not the government to choose reading material. We did not pick the book and have addressed this with her [Ann Scott’s] staff. * From 2016..Tampa Bay Times...www.tampabay.com/... Reading to children is almost always a good idea. But, as Gradebook reported, Florida First Lady Ann Scott wound up apologizing for language contained in the classic novel A Land Remembered www.tampabay.com/… So Hypocrites….Do you really think we have forgotten the dirty read to small kids from Former First Lady of Florida or Scott’s pleading the fifth 75 times over his hand in the medicare cookie jar and found guilty? The hypocrisy is so stunning, it smells like a used stinky sweaty sock. Do you really really want to have this fight for those who have not forgotten?
