Burn, baby, burn. Fires are becoming quite common in Russia.

There is a huge fire at a building in Moscow.

Coincidentally, it happens to be involved in the “production of radio control channels for naval and aviation jet weapons.”

But I’m sure that’s just a coincidence. Probably just another careless smoker.

x A fire broke out near the Scientific Research Institute in Moscow.

There is also a separate fire at a car service warehouse. Supposedly, this is not military-related, but I’d guess there is a good chance they weren’t servicing cars there, that it was a fuel warehouse.

President (Maia) Sandu alleged Russia was planning to use "saboteurs with military background, camouflaged in civilian clothes, to undertake violent actions, attacks on state institutions and taking hostages". The plot would involve citizens of Russia, Montenegro, Belarus and Serbia entering Moldova, she told a news conference.

Perhaps Russia figures those 1,500 Russian troops in Transnistria need something else to do, since they would likely be wiped out if they attacked Ukraine. Actually, the Russia garrison in Transnistria needs to be forcibly removed by somebody. Moldova doesn’t have the means to do it.
