Today for Valentines day — BUY A HOUSE PLANT!

Already have too many — make starters.

Use them as a physical reminder to yourself and friends that nature is a system, a house plant is a carbon digesting machine.

If every one of us was participating with nature and it’s biological functions — things might not be so bad. Houseplants are an easy tiny tiny step that benefits the house where they live and reminds the owner that they can do something. Great gateway plants to convince others to grow stuff and connect to nature.

Can you really have too many houseplants?

We started growing too many after someone in the house had some health issues with oxygen levels — and our furnace is forced air. Huge difference in air quality.

Houses and spaces with houseplants have better air — you can smell the difference when you are in them. I have not gotten tests — but others have — and yes you can measurably alter your environment and the air you breathe.
