So I will maybe regret saying this later, but I think this guys take on the situation is dead on right. Ukraine sure appears to be so confident and these offensives happening, both ways — I think this is a precursor. I was thinking they would just tie up Russia there at Bakhmut and give ground in a bloody delaying action for Russia but just maybe they think they can hold this area. I don’t see how else one could look at this move here because they are taking actions to hold it,. They sure appear to have calculated the voracity of the Russian offensive. I think this is a pretty bold move if they thought Russia had a lot of strength behind it. They still need to get to Crimea to end this in the big picture though. General Hodges is surely right in the end. This guy is really is pretty objective I think. I can relate to this guy. He thinks like me — or like I used to think a long time ago. Back to work.
