Some pieces are hidden. You have a basic idea what the image is, but the box does not exist. There has never been a puzzle quite like this before. It is unique and extraordinary. You’ve got help, but it’s not completely unlimited. Solving the puzzle is imperative. The stakes could not be higher. There are many people who don’t want you to solve this puzzle. They’re doing their best to destroy or hide as many pieces as possible before they can be found. Now suppose this is a spectator sport... A portion of the crowd wants you to fail. They deride you incessantly. Others cheer you on wishing you the best and hoping you succeed. A third group of spectators suggest you don’t want to solve the puzzle, that it’s taking you too long. They jeer and heckle as loud, if not louder, than either of the other groups despite demonstrated progress. Before you were given this daunting task you already had hundreds of other puzzles to solve, and you’re given new ones each day… These puzzles must also be solved. They cannot be ignored. Under normal circumstances they would be your primary objective. What effect does the last group’s actions have? Which of the other groups would be bolstered and which demoralized? Would listening to spectators help in any way? How long might this task take you to complete? Does it seem easy?
