CHRISTIANS WHO ARE CHALLENGING CHRISTIAN NATIONALISM

I am posting this information in reaction to recent diaries about religious faith.

In the journey of my life, I have been sympathetic to both points of view (Christian and atheist). I believe a deeper understanding of the various perspectives can be very helpful in maintaining our political alliances across our differences. For example, a view I had never been aware of—one commenter explained the stress and anger that comes from being an atheist living in the South. This information really helped me understand his reactions to Daily Kos discussions of Christian faith.

There is a small progressive Christian organization that has been reaching out to evangelical and Catholic voters to educate them about the dangers of Christian Nationalism.
