The Period App

I’ll bet you thought you woke up in America today, but it can’t be. The America I believe in would never subpoena an app that helps women keep track of their periods. Yet Virginia believes it may be necessary to have this information made available to the government so they can track woman’s periods, discover anomalies, and use this information to prosecute and prevent woman from obtaining abortions.

In South Dakota, Governor Noem signed into law a bill that would force citizens in South Dakota seeking to transition, to detransition. That’s right: In South Dakota the government will choose your gender for you.

Both states have Republican Governors: The Party of freedom, the Party as Sarah Huckabee Sanders stated, did not start or seek to engage in the culture wars.

As it turns out, 44 states were seeking similar information of their student athletes. Some sought to examine male genitals.

Meanwhile, in Spain: “16- and 17-year-olds in Spain can now undergo an abortion without parental consent. Period products will now be offered free in schools and prisons, while state-run health centers will do the same with hormonal contraceptives and the morning after pill. The menstrual leave measure allows workers suffering debilitating period pain to take paid time off.”

Some may recall an old television show: Car 54 where are you? I am asking, United States, where are you? Imagine: The United States, less free than Spain.
