Welcome again to Saturday Morning Home Repair blogging, where we talk about fixing houses and the things in them that are supposed to work for us. An ad hoc cadre of building professionals and gifted amateurs attempt to answer questions that arise from readers, and offer encouragement and advice for those inclined to do things for themselves, if they can. We all do a lot of things, collectively, and can probably help out with insights from our vast experience. Or sometimes, we just gab.

good morning: this weekend is back to the tack room. the barn door hardware came in. I will be picking it up and heading to the ranch to layout and design the door. for my part, this is the last major piece of this project. do need to put some finishing touches on my custom designed saddle racks ...plumber style. and put in some shelving and a white board.

with rain due this week and the fact that they have moved most of their tack into the shed ...I’m under some pressure to get the door on this weekend.

I promise to write a more detailed accounting of the entire project. lots of the usual ...and unique restraints on this project to overcome.

but today ...Jedi and Stormfly are waiting...
