Computer Issues as a Senior Citizen [1]

I have no picture to post. I am a senior citizen and am so lost with all this modern technology. All I want to do is watch tv, to surf the channels and ‘select’ what I want to watch. If I don’t like what I’m watching I want to surf more until I find what I may want to watch. I have Spectrum now and even though when I first turn the tv on and I select LIVE TV when I try to select another channel I get their listing of when all those episodes/series are and what dates they are showing. And because the dates are not ‘today’ I can’t watch them unless I scroll through the whole list until I find ‘showing now’. All I want to do is watch tv, I don’t give a damn as to what is on. I JUST WANT TO F’ING WATCH TV & TO PICK AND CHOOSE WHAT I WANT TO WATCH per their listing! Whatever is showing now!!!!

The way I look at it is if I have selected ‘live tv’ then when I scroll through the channels and see one I may want to watch then it should go directely to that show! If I wanted on demand then I think I would be subscribing to those outlets that offer the programing I want to actually watch.

I AM SO CONFUSED!!!! I’ve tried googling this but it is so confusing!!!! WHY IS THIS SO G’DAMN CONFUSING? Am I the only one who can’t figure this f’ing crap out?

I even tried communicating with Spectrum via their ‘live chat’ and in the middle of the chat I lost internet communication with them for about 5 minutes? When I tried to go back to live chat all I got was that circulating circle that kept circling that never took me back to live chat.

I hope this all makes sense….but if it doesn’t I won’t be surprised. I’m so angry at this bullshit right now that I just want to scream. As much as I’ve tried to figure this out with even to a live person on the phone I am still in this hell hole!
