Tulsi Gabbard: Still Loathsome, Still on FOX "News". [1]

We once had a user here during the 2020 Democratic primary who was a great booster of Tulsi Gabbard for President. I can’t recall her username but I remember her angrily calling us “racist”, “anti veteran” etc., when we dared to criticize her. As most of us know, Gabbard was “once” virulently homophobic and only ran as a Democrat because she knew that she couldn’t get elected as a Republican in Hawaii. She has long been one of the most conservative “Democrats” on the scene and like Sinema and Manchin, her service seemed to be predicated on representing corporate interests, rather than those of her constituents.

While she used to appear regularly as a guest on FOX “News”, usually on the program of her BFF and frozen meal silver spoon baby Tucker Carlson, now her relationship is in a more official capacity and she seems to be more on a vengeance tour than anything else. Vengeance against the party that rejected her in favor of a real Democrat. After very publicly flouncing away from the Democratic Party like some egotistical Diva who thinks that she’s much more important than she really is, she’s now comparing Biden to Hitler because apparently assembling a cabinet that more closely resembles the United States is, I dunno, the new eugenics war? So last night she appeared with Bill O’Reilly protégé and all around despicable human being, Jesse Watters and among other things, she complained that Biden was:

"hiring people, selecting people...based on genetics, race, based on your blood, your genes. And where do we see that connection? Well, these are the very same geneticist core principles embodied by Nazism and Adolf Hitler."

“Nazism”? “Adolph Hitler”? Why, because of all of the women, Jews, Black people and openly gay members of Hitler’s Chancellery? As many of us tried to point out during the 2020 primary, this is who Tulsi Gabbard is. Despite her fake “apology” for being a raging homophobe and despite her lip service to Democratic principles, this is who Gabbard is: the worst kind of opportunistic mercenary in politics. I know the woman has an ax to grind but going full Godwin on Joe Biden for having the most diverse (and best qualified) cabinet ever?

U.S. politics has taken some serious hits lately but comparing Biden to Hitler because voters saw through her cheap DINOsaur costume is beyond anything I’ve yet seen from any non MAGA politician. I don’t remember the name of that user who would excoriate us for dissing Gabbard so, because like the object of her adoration, she flounced off for being disagreed with but I’m curious to know if she’s still a big supporter. If she still thinks of Gabbard as some kind of wonderful “progressive” who is the only salvation for the country and the Democratic Party.

A leopard can’t change its spots, a beaver can’t stop making dams and Tulsi Gabbard is always going to be loathsome. I love being in a truly big tent party but that doesn’t mean that I have to include arsonists having tantrums about voters seeing through her transparent BS.

EDIT: I don’t think it’s unreasonable to put this comment in the context of the time it’s coming up and that is that Republicans have lately been critical of Pete Buttigieg due to the East Palestine rail disaster. A gay hating demagogue with a platform like dear Tulsi just couldn’t resist piling on because everybody knows that same sex attraction means that you can’t do your job….
