There are also investigations and hearings being conducted about Hunter Biden’s laptop, the weaponization of the federal government and the threat to national security of books about transgender and gay children. A Chinese official in Nigeria says Beijing plans to invest over $300 billion in Africa in the next three years to increase African exports and help close the large trade gap with China. While China is building high speed rail systems and highways, medical facilities, sewage treatment plants and potable water to Africa’s poorest countries, the US House of Representative seats George Santos and Marjorie Taylor Greene reintroduces a bill in Congress that would make it illegal to provide gender-affirming care to minors, with those found guilty of providing the care facing Class C felony charges and potential deportation. In 2021 there were 729 attempts to remove school, university and library materials, resulting in 1,597 book challenges or removals. If we don’t elect decent, intelligent people to office we are doomed.
