Welcome to the Street Prophets Coffee Hour cleverly hidden at the intersection of religion and politics. This is an open thread where we can share our thoughts and comments about the day. I collect museums and, as a result, I post some museum photo diaries. During the past three weeks or so I’ve been on the road collecting more museums, photographing some of their exhibits, and learning new stuff. The museums included art museums, history museums, military museums, and car museums. While my primary interests are in archaeology and American Indians, there weren’t a lot of displays about either of these.

This road trip was different: we usually travel in a motorhome which gives the feline member of the household lots of room to wander, but this time we went by car. During the trip, I collected 14 museums and one zoo, and took about 6,000 photographs. Over the next year or so, some of the museum exhibits will be posted here, but in the meantime, here is a preview.
