In addition to AM talk radio, conservativism seems to own all the grocery store checkout aisles. Why is that?

Are people who listen to talk radio or who go grocery shopping not an audience progressives can reach?

ALL of those folks are unreachable???

I’m sure of this: if you don’t make an attempt to speak to people, they won’t listen to you.

Can progressives not communicate in an engaging, persuasive way?

I’ll bet we can, or we can figure out how to.

Yes, it may cost a boatload of money, but I’d suggest to the super wealthy progressives who have the resources to invest in mass communication efforts: perhaps the returns — in helping to sway public opinion toward critically important causes — would be worth the investment.
