The Flaming Madness of Donald Trump: Pour Justice on the Flames [1] ['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.', 'Backgroundurl Avatar_Large', 'Nickname', 'Joined', 'Created_At', 'Story Count', 'N_Stories', 'Comment Count', 'N_Comments', 'Popular Tags'] Date: 2023-04-03 AI Surrealist painting of Donald Trump’s flaming head. Flaming madness dares “We the People” to rip America apart. Justice must be poured upon the madness to whither out this rage. If we have courage to put this flame out, smoldering smoke may still haze our conscience for years to come. But with action, the smoke will in time dissipate into bits of wisdom. Participate in Democracy! Demand politicians to uphold the Constitution, and demand to keep the powers separate. Stand by the judges, prosecutors, and even the defense counselors who will determine the fate of a man, who stokes the flame of this madness. For justice and Due Process is water that will snuff out this burning spirit. We have stood by justice before. Many scores ago, slaves braved to escape their masters. Abolitionists braved to help slaves escape, citizens braved to vote for Lincoln, and Lincoln braved to emancipate the slaves. Black Slaves escape from a slave ship during a storm. Decades ago, a Black woman braved to sit on a seat, people braved to march against segregation, and a Black man braved to proclaim, “I have a dream.” Years ago, a Black man braved to run for president and declare “Hope and change,” and citizens braved to break the presidential color barrier. The spirit of Abraham Lincoln was the benevolent flame that led to Barack Obama’s election, the event that sparked our current raging flame of madness. America was changing. The dominant would now have to settle for equality. Their romantic past was vanishing. Obama confers with Lincoln. Let us not take lightly those who chanted “Lock her up!” Let us not take lightly those who threaten the judges and prosecutors. Let us not take lightly those who want to squash the voting rights of those who oppose them and let us not take lightly those who call for a new civil war. We must stand up to those with the flaming madness. We must tell them that a new romantic future is possible. We must declare to them that giving everyone equal opportunity will make this country better, and “We the People” can come together and let democracy flourish for generations to come. Tomorrow, when that man, who is just a man, faces his arraignment, will be an important splash of justice water.
