John Dean handed Richard Nixon a List...

And just so you know, this historically happened

...In the Oval Office. Actually there were quickly two lists, of White House Enemies, as Nixon liked the first one so much, he ordered Dean to prepare a 2nd -- my mother was specifically on that list. The Chicago Tribune called, wrote it up. WGN radio had her on air. She barely batted an eyelash -- played it low key and cool. As it turned out, she'd written a check to each of the Democratic candidates. The penalty for being on Nixon's enemies list was superficially petty, being snubbed and such -- with a hint concerning the IRS as well, just to make it extra tricky dicky.
