On December 12, 2018, Michael Cohen was convicted and sentenced to three years in federal prison after pleading guilty to tax evasion and campaign-finance violations.

Michael Cohen informed the NYC District Attorney that Donald J. Trump paid him to commit the campaign-finance crimes that he was convicted of, and Cohen literally has the receipts.

The NYC District Attorney has reviewed Donald J. Trump’s financial records and found that Donald J. Trump recorded the payments to Michael Cohen as legitimate business expenses.

Under New York law, recording payments made for the purpose of committing crimes as legitimate business expenses is a felony.

Bragg has identified 34 incidents of such false recordings.
