Michael Cohen informed the NYC District Attorney that Donald J. Trump paid him to commit the campaign-finance crimes that he was convicted of, and Cohen literally has the receipts. The NYC District Attorney has reviewed Donald J. Trump’s financial records and found that Donald J. Trump recorded the payments to Michael Cohen as legitimate business expenses.
