Wednesday Woozles: Easter Delights [1] ['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.', 'Backgroundurl Avatar_Large', 'Nickname', 'Joined', 'Created_At', 'Story Count', 'N_Stories', 'Comment Count', 'N_Comments', 'Popular Tags'] Date: 2023-04-05 A gentle reminder of how we do things: đŸ±đŸ¶đŸŠ Do not troll the diary. If you hate pootie diaries, leave now. No harm, no foul. Please do share pics of your fur kids! If you have health/behavior issues with your pets, feel free to bring it to the community. Pooties are cats; Woozles are dogs. Birds... are birds! Peeps are people. Whatever happens in the outer blog STAYS in the outer blog. If you’re having “issues” with another Kossack, keep it “out there.” This is a place to relax and play; please treat it accordingly. There are some pics we never post: snakes, creepy crawlies, any and all photos that depict or encourage human cruelty toward animals. These are considered “out of bounds” and will not be tolerated. If we alert you to it, please remember that we do have phobic peeps who react strongly to them. If you keep posting banned pics...well then...the Tigress will have to take matters in hand. Or, paw. I hope everyone is stocked up on eggs. Are you having an Easter celebration at you home? Have you ever thought of having an Easter egg hunt special for your woozles? Anna Burke has an article on it over at the American Kennel Club’s site: Create a Springtime Egg Hunt That Your Dog Will Love. Burke says it’s a great way to work on your woozle’s nose work. Make sure you praise them for every find. She says to make sure any plastic Easter eggs you place their treats in aren’t so small that you woozle could choke on them. A better choice, she recommends, are new Kong toys stuffed with treats. Or you could just hide the treats alone. Just don’t leave treats outside overnight. Teh wildlifes will take this as an open invitation to a free buffet. I speak from personal experience on this. Burke also points out that woozles with strong resource guarding tendencies may be better off at their own private egg hunts. For obvious reasons. Have a safe and happy Easter! So what’s happening with your critters?
