Then, on the rest of the menu, a pair of Oklahoma jailers got probation after torturing inmates by playing ‘Baby Shark’ on repeat for hours; the sheriff of one of Maryland’s most populous counties was accused of illegally obtaining machine guns so a gun shop could rent out the weapons for profit; and, participants in a Department of Defense training exercise at a Boston hotel entered the wrong room and mistakenly detained a guest instead of the person assigned the role.

After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where Switzerland will end its auto import tax exemption for electric cars; and, coal use has climbed worldwide despite promises to slash it.
