I need help. [1]

During the pandemic (and since, thanks to inflation) I was unable to pay the mortgage to the tune of $8,350. My mortgage holder has been very good about it, but her lawyer is pushing her to sell him the mortgage, and foreclose. My total income (and I thank President Joe for the raise!) is $1035 and some help from my sister @ $100/mnth. I’ve been without a hot water heater for two months and am going through the butane to heat water for dishes and bathing (!). All my cards are maxed except the one I save for the veterinarian care for the pooties and woozle. I’m having to buy firewood this year for the first time as my friend who usually gives me the wood has long Covid. I’ve been here 25 years on a 30 year mortgage and hate to lose it, but selling won’t give me enough to live on outside of this place. Mobile home parks are charging an avg. of $600 for space rent and there’s a five year waiting list for low income housing. I’ve looked at everything I could to help alleviate the problem and I’ve come to you as a last resort. Can you possibly help with anything at all? My four cats and one dog would appreciate it, as well.

Thanks for everything in advance. I’ve learned so much since I started here and it’s been an eye-opener. I had no idea how close we have come to the entire demolition of our Democracy. Please, everyone, keep up the good work and I’ll do what I can, but at 80 years old, postcards and a few dollars is about it.
