Walk out to learn is having a huge student-led demonstration on the 21, starting but not ending in Florida.

“Walk out to Learn” is starting to go big, and Florida is the obvious place to start.

They are labeling it as the largest student protest in the nation’s history. I wouldn’t be surprised—there is so much in Florida to protest and nationally.

My strong sense is that the momentum toward vastly more and larger protests is about to begin—about choice, women’s health, books, guns, local autonomy, racism, authoritarianism, church/state separation, anti-fascism, etc. This will, I think be a very big deal for momentum toward next year’s election. And, of course, the wackos in the GOP-dominated House will lead to more of this.

Voter participation among the nation’s youth is also about to explode, and marches is a good portion of the way to get there
