Could a Federal Judge Rule Against the Boeing 737 and ground it? [1]

I have been thinking about the Judge in Texas who is seeking to oveerturn the FDA approval of mifepristone that has been approved for 20 years as safe and effective. Suppose another Judge decides that the Boing 737 airplane that has been approved by the FAA for decades should no longer be considered safe.



The Judge in Texas is not a Medical Doctor so why should his opinion even be considered? It is not about safety, it is about politics. A judge might not like social policies of Boing aircraft Company (purely hypothetical) and issue a ruling to ground the 737 for only political reasons.



This might be far fetched but if the Texas Judge's ruling is affirmed, it would open all of the Federal Agencies to a Single person's political beliefs. EPA. DEA, FAA,SCC and so on . decisions could all be over-ruled by one single person with no special knowledge of whatever is being ruled against.



The Government agencies are in place to protect the the safety and security of the general public that it serves. Fortunately, this thinly veiled political decision can and will not stand. If it does we are inviting anarchy and chaos into our system of self governance.
