Today was the 10th anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombing, and while the race was great, and it was an uplifting event for the most part, sadly, in Newton, the police managed to fuck it up. Hate to link to Twitter, but it’s the only place I could find this.

I’ve been to the marathon and cheered it on at a point just earlier in the race. Never seen the cops set up like this for white groups, even drunken student groups much bigger than this. You just have to wonder if anything is getting thru to police departments in this country.
