He is 16 years old and is in the hospital after being shot in the head after knocking on a door on the wrong street while he was out to pick up his siblings on April 13, 2023. After he was shot in the head, the homeowner then shot him while he was in the ground. I am heartbroken that it took so long to see him, and to realize the level of racism and hatred in my state, and my country. I only learned his details after seeing Halle Berry’s tweet:

And we wonder why people are getting angry and fed up at our leaders. Maybe they are afraid of being killed for no reason other than hatred and racism. You know, plain and simple ignorance…

Here’s an idea: If someone is so afraid of strangers on your porch, just don’t answer the freaking door and call 911. Then wait for help to arrive…

Yeah, I am just a little pissed off, can you tell?
