Kitchen Table Kibitzing ~ 4.17.23 ~ Dust [1]

Part of the problem is that over the winter my yard turned into a plot of dirt, which turned my kitchen into a dust covered room. I planted grass seed and a friend was supposed to be me pine needles to cover the area yesterday.

When he got to Lowes, they were sold out, and they had accidentally sold the pile that had been put away for me. I have to use pine straw needles because I discovered the hard way that anything else turns to...you guessed it, dust!

The good news is, that because they fucked up, Lowes is refunding my money and giving me the pine needles for free when they get it in again. Hopefully tomorrow so I can give my dusty dogs a bath.

It’s pretty ridiculous that I feel the need to have a clean house anyway. First, I worry that if I die and people have to come deal with my house well, that will be embarrassing. But I would be dead and gone, so why would I care? Second, in case I don’t die I have 8 people coming over, 1 each day to take care of me, they will see the mess, and I’m actually easily embarrassed.

So, I’m not here but I’ll leave you with some thoughts on dust.
