We will be joined by a doctoral candidate from Rutgers University to learn about the recent strike there, once again, proving the power of labor solidarity.

Earlier on Thursday, at 4pm ET, join PDA Executive Director Alan Minsky for the public launch of Higher Education Labor United’s (HELU) Free Higher Ed for All campaign. Here’s the sign-up link for this historic 75-minute event, featuring leading advocates for free public colleges and universities across the country.

PDA proudly has a unique role in the HELU coalition, as a trailblazing civil society organization alongside the dozens of labor unions leading the national effort for cost-free public higher education.

So, join the HELU event at 4pm ET; and then at 8pm ET join the PDA Labor IOT meeting that will feature a report-back, and dialogue about the labor-led effort for Free Higher Education.
