Russia bombs itself; blast opens huge crater in Belgorod [1]

Earlier today, a big crater appeared in downtown Belgorod, Russia.

Was it a sinkhole? A careless smoker? Ukraine’s new secret weapon?

Russia claims it was … ummm … “an abnormal descent of aviation munitions.”

In other words, Russia bombed itself. Oops.

Now, I’m sure some of you are going to make fun of the incompetence of the Russian military. But who among us hasn’t accidentally bombed a city?

Making it even worse, some folks were celebrating their decisive strike on intended target Kharkiv.

x russian Z channels announced the bombing and had been celebrating it until the bomb fell in Belgorid, and they quickly started deleting posts.

Maybe they can instead gloat that the missile was never intercepted by Ukrainian air defenses and exploded successfully.
