Dear Newdists, it is Earth Day today!

I know TwitterElmo’s frustrated he’s not leading a Mars expedition. Hasn’t prevented him from wrecking Twitter though. And his fan base defends him. Instead of running off to Mars, wouldn’t it be great if Branson, Bezos and the Apartheid Tech Bros and their Pay Pal allies actually spent their political and financial capital on cleaning up here at home, on Earth?

I was going to write a diary about something that I’ve been privately kvetching about to friends, and thought to bring it to you all to see what your thoughts are. Next time. Today, we celebrate Earth Day! [Although, I think we celebrate Earth Day in most diaries at NDC, no?].
