Carlson got fired for the cost caused by the leaking of the texts.

Pxxxxxy Svvvvvvvs (My friend since 2nd grade.) (This is a response to a question my friend asked.)

Which was: Why is it we hate Tucker Carlson again? Won't it just somebody else reading words he didn't write?

Answer:

He did not get fired for lying. His job is to knowingly lie. He told the truth in those texts he sent. He did not get fired for telling the truth because Fox knew about the texts long ago. He did not get fired for being an asshole. For Fox, that was one of his features. He got fired because the texts got leaked and they were brought out in discovery. And that cost Fox 787.5 million dollars, give or take the next 20 years. He got thrown under the bus because the leaking of his text cost Fox lots and lots and lots of money. It makes no difference if he is the guilty leaker or not. His name was on the texts that told the truth. So it falls on him. He got fired because there was no defense against his texts. Truth laid bare. Every jury would find for Dominion. The settlement SAVED Fox 800 million. And their insurance is going to pay the bill. But the thing is, they are also being sued by another voting machine company. And Fox has reached or exceeded what the insurance company will pay already so if the other company wins and also is granted punitive damages, (they will and they will), Fox could be on the hook for a sum approaching 2 billion. So in a way. You are right. But Carlson was more than a reader of cue cards. Those texts prove he knowingly and willingly lied. And it cost Fox money. And might cost them much much more. So the next racist sexist fascist asshole they put on Fox could very well be your "he's just a news reader guy". Hope all is well. Carlson for obtuse reasons cost Fox 3/4 of a billion dollars. But of course Fox Corp is fully complicit and up to it's armpits in slime because slime is what they do. It is their product. But Carlson was the fulcrum. So he is blamed. Lesson learned? If your job is to be a lying scumbag, Don't ever ever ever tell the truth in print.

And it is not hating him again. Lying fascist deceitful assholey scumbags are always worthy of hate. It does not ebb and flow. It is constant. Well, it is not so much hating him. It for sure hating what he does and says. So you have couched the question incorrectly. We always hate fascist scumbaggery. Without pause. And at least strongly dislike those who perpetrate such falderal.
