[1] ['This Content Is Not Subject To Review Daily Kos Staff Prior To Publication.', 'Backgroundurl Avatar_Large', 'Nickname', 'Joined', 'Created_At', 'Story Count', 'N_Stories', 'Comment Count', 'N_Comments', 'Popular Tags'] Date: 2023-04-25 AI is a big background story these days. While scanning the abundant chatter on the subject a creative spark dances in front of me. It leaves me with a bit of a prediction: AI will hit the political campaign scene this year like a bombshell. Because it will allow campaign supporters to be heard with more than just the sounds money dropping on them. Or the simple minded yes/no answers to inane survey questions. “Pressing the flesh” will be just as good as ever especially if the doing so catches the attention of the journalists and friendly publishers. But only so much is humanly possible. I have always wished that the campaigns I give small amounts to could actually hear what I think for whatever purpose. Writing anything is a lost cause because there can never be enough staffing to wade through all the email and survey commentary. That’s where AI comes in. I’ll be motivated to write if I think “something” will actually make good use of what I convey; intelligently reducing it to useful guidance for a candidate’s campaign. And If I feel that way I may well be motivated to contribute. What say you, Kossaks? Should AI technology for large data analysis of voter opinions be used? Can it help us more than the other guys? (I guarantee they will use it) [END] --- [1] Url: https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2023/4/25/2165854/-AI-Good-Campaign-tool Published and (C) by Daily Kos Content appears here under this condition or license: Site content may be used for any purpose without permission unless otherwise specified. via Magical.Fish Gopher News Feeds: gopher://magical.fish/1/feeds/news/dailykos/
