Tucker Carlson is still fired, as far as I know. So that’s a pretty good way to start the day, in case you were looking for something to lift your spirits.

Other than that, well, it’s National Pretzel Day.

Greg Dworkin, a well-known liker of pretzels, will be available for commentary on today’s show.

Pretzel, by the way, is derived from the Middle High German word “prezel,” meaning, “pretzel.”

Those Middle High Germans were a crafty bunch. There’s no telling where they were gonna go next, linguistically-speaking.
