Turmoil in Ghana- John is in Accra [1]

Just a brief and very sad update.

John, my friend in Ghana who has been performing a ministry of helping those in most extreme need, has fled to Accra. After the assault he no longer feels safe in the Buduburam Refugee Camp where he had been living.

He has been living on the beach and sleeping in the forest.

His children are with their mother. I am not sure of their condition.

Because this is the end of the month I am totally out of money to help (the donations that have been given have been dispersed to the people he has been helping.)

John is totally discouraged and disheartened. He is going to sell his phone for food money.

I may hear from him again. I may not.
